A few weeks ago, Skiathos Transports started recording all the bus stops of the Port-Koukounaries line, so that the necessary restorations could be done.

The mapping of all applicable routes has been completed in view of the new tourist season and the cleaning crew has already started removing hauled material, waste and grass.

Meantime, a team of experts repaired parts of the stops and proceeded in painting them.

The last stage of the project includes the installation of boards with essential information for the passengers and the renovation of the central stops in Limani and Acropolis districts.

Also, apart from the Port-Koukounaries line, longwise of which the necessary restorations  are already being executed, station webs will be installed -where no wooden canopies are installed- so that the passengers are informed about the exact boarding and disembarking points of each route.
